Introduction
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Colorado, Inc. grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Since being founded in 1983, the chapter has granted nearly 3,000 wishes to eligible Colorado children.
Make-A-Wish Foundation finances its endeavors through corporate sponsors, foundations, service clubs, fundraisers and individual contributions. Make-A-Wish is not funded by United Way, nor does it receive any government funding. We continue to make the magic of wishes happen thanks to community-minded corporations, groups and individuals.
The Colorado chapter is part of the largest wish-granting organization in the world, with 69 chapters in the United States and its territories, along with 27 international affiliates on five continents. Make-A-Wish estimates a positive impact on more than 300,000 individuals each year.
