Volunteer
- Volunteers are a valued, indispensable asset of our organization, and a primary reason we have been able to accomplish our mission for 25 years. Therefore, we genuinely appreciate that SO many people want to be part of the magic of granting wishes by becoming a volunteer. Thank you very much.
We routinely receive many more offers to volunteer than we have opportunities and needs available. We encourage you to send us a completed Volunteer Information Form (below) which we will keep on file. We will respond to individual volunteer inquiries as our needs change and develop. And please keep in mind, there are a variety of additional ways to support our mission. Consider finding out how by going to the Ways to Give page. Please note: Volunteers must be at least 21 years of age, or college students. If you are younger and would like to help us make wishes come true, you can get involved in our Kids For Wish Kids program.
OUR CURRENT VOLUNTEER NEEDS: We are seeking
• Fundraising volunteers who are assertive, outgoing individuals with a sales background, or strong connections in the business community, or applicable experience, or creativity, energy and time, who can assist us in developing new resources for substantial silent auction items; developing new resources for significant event corporate sponsors; cultivating established partnerships to seek repeat donations, and more. (For more information, see the job description below.)
• Volunteers who have flexible daytime schedules who can join our on-call, occasional office assistants pool.
If your interests and availability match any of these current needs, or if you would like to be considered for future volunteer needs, please complete the Volunteer Information Form and email it or fax it to Becky Schilling at (303) 755-3108.
If you are part of a group that would like to explore ways to volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, please complete the Group Volunteer Information Form, and return it to Becky.
